Privacy policy

What personal data militating.com collects, why, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated October 28, 2026

You can read militating.com without an account. We collect as little personal data as we can, and we do not sell it.

What we collect

  • Server logs. When you visit, our servers and our hosting and content-delivery providers record technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested. We use it to keep the site secure and running, and delete it after a short period.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address and language to send you the briefing. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Contact form. If you write to us, we keep your name, email address and message to answer you.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics today. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Why we may use it

We process data to provide the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest), to send the newsletter you asked for (consent), and to reply to your messages (legitimate interest).

Who else sees it

Only the providers that host and deliver the site and send our emails, under agreements that limit their use of the data. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time. Contact us through the contact page. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
